Sydney, Australia, 28 March 2017 – Audi Australia Pty Ltd has announced Paul Sansom as the successor to Andrew Doyle, who will leave the company in April 2017 to take on a new role as the Director of Audi UK.
Mr Sansom is currently Managing Director of Audi South Africa.
His automotive career started with Jaguar UK in 2001 as National Fleet Sales Manager, and he went on to join the Volkswagen Group UK in 2003. In 2006 he moved to Audi UK as National Sales Manager.
By 2009, Mr Sansom was promoted to Audi UK's Director of Aftersales and Customer Service, and then to Director of Sales from 2012, in which time the brand reached the number one position in the UK premium market for the first time with a record market share.
He was appointed Managing Director of Audi South Africa in mid-2014, a period in which the Audi brand has held the number one spot in the market for both sales and service customer satisfaction.
Mr Cian O'Brien, who was announced late last year as the replacement to Andrew Doyle, has been asked by AUDI AG Management to take up another role within the global organisation.
