Sydney, Australia, 17 March 2016 - Audi Australia has recognised the nation's top performing dealerships of 2016 at its annual 'Audi Dealer of the Year' award celebration.
The announcement was made on Friday evening at a black-tie event for 200 people held at the Sydney Opera House. Audi brand Ambassador, Lisa Wilkinson, emceed the event, which was catered by Matt Moran's ARIA restaurant.
The awards also combined the announcement of the nation's top Sales, Parts and Service Managers, Business Managers, Marketing Managers, Audi Approved Plus Managers, and Sales Executives who compete in the annual Audi quattro Club awards.
Audi Centre Parramatta was awarded Major Metropolitan dealer of the year. It is the fourth time that the team from Parramatta has won this prestigious award.
Taking out the number one position for Metropolitan dealership was Audi Centre Geelong for the first time, while Audi Centre Townsville won the Rural/Provincial category for the fifth time.
For 10 years, the annual Audi Dealer of the Year Awards have recognised and rewarded the Audi dealerships that show outstanding success across all areas of their business, including sales performance, aftersales business, marketing innovation and customer service satisfaction.
Audi Australia's Managing Director, Andrew Doyle, congratulated the award winners, acknowledging that the high standard of accomplishment within the Audi network continues to advance every year.
"The automotive business is changing rapidly, and to stay ahead, we need a highly energised and committed group of dealerships that will continue to deliver the best customer experiences in Australia," said Andrew Doyle, Audi's Managing Director.
