Jaguar Classic is re-starting production of the iconic D-type race car in Coventry, 62 years after the last example was built in 1956. The first Jaguar D-type to be assembled by Jaguar Classic, an engineering prototype, will make its world debut at the Salon Retromobile show in Paris this week.

Jaguar's latest model, the E-PACE touched down in Los Angeles this week ahead of the LA Auto Show, accompanied by renowned British model David Gandy.   As one of Britain's most recognisable male models – due in part to his ten year relationship with Italian fashion house Dolce and Gabbana – David was photographed alongside Jaguar's newest SUV the E-PACE and the iconic E-Type on the Californian lake bed of El Mirage. The shoot was for the cover and editorial piece in a US luxury men's lifestyle magazine.

Jaguar's SVO-developed XE SV Project 8 is now the world's fastest four-door car, following a production-intent prototype's record lap of the Nürburgring Nordschleife. The incredible time of 7min 21.23sec is nearly 11 seconds quicker than the previous fastest sedan around the legendary 20.8km German circuit and puts the 441kW Project 8 ahead of some of the world's fastest two-door coupés and supercars.

Applications are open to all ages, offering a range of roles at apprentice level (16-18), graduate level (18-22) and direct employment (22+).

Olympic triathletes Alistair and Jonny Brownlee have reignited their rivalry in a triathlon with a difference – behind the wheel of a Jaguar XF and XF Sportbrake. Jaguar Land Rover will today demonstrate prototype autonomous technology called Autonomous Urban Drive that can enable a vehicle to operate autonomously through a city, obeying traffic lights as well as negotiating T-junctions and roundabouts. This research technology, called Autonomous Urban Drive, is designed and developed in the UK. It is a step closer to achieving 'level four' autonomy in Jaguar Land Rover's future vehicles within the next decade.
