The Polaris Racing Team is only one heat away from winning their third consecutive ARC SXS Challenge. Team Driver Cody Crocker and co-driver Greg Foletta just need to finish one of the two heats at this weekend's Rally Victoria in order to secure their third win after taking the win back in the first season of the ARC SXS Challenge in 2012 and again in 2013.

"Mathematically we need to finish just one of the Heat's. But my target is always to win, so I certainly won't be going out there to cruise around for the points" said Cody Crocker.

The Polaris Racing Team placed first back in April at the WA round, third in SA and first at the recent NSW round being Rally Australia. This weekend the Polaris Racing Team will tackle heavy rain on the forestry stages at Rally Victoria and will cover 63.3km on Friday and 138.1km on Saturday.

"It's been a great year; we've been on average two seconds per kilometre faster than last year. So to think ahead to some of those roads at Rally Victoria, I can't wait!" continued Crocker.

At the recent Rally Australia in Coffs Harbour NSW rally veterans Crocker and Foletta placed first in all three heats and ultimately won the weekend.

A highlight for all at this Rally was with what can only be described as an outrageous achievement, two stock RZR's (with required safety features) each worth approximately $40k posted the two fastest times out of all classes of vehicles on the Super Special Stage at Rally Australia on the Friday night of the Rally.

Polaris RZR's placed first and second respectively and beat Rally Veteran Neal Bates who placed fourth overall in his Toyota Celica. The Super Special Stage consisted of a 1.56km Stage in the town centre of Coffs Harbour with the side x side class yet again proving to the Rally community and thousands of spectators that they won't accept looking at the rear ends of $200,000+ Rally Cars.

"Our RZR XP 1000 is a pleasure to drive; it does everything it is meant to do well and reliably but it also does something it wasn't supposed to do and that is beat the best Rally Cars in the game! I am very proud to drive the Polaris RZR product, who would have thought that two nights in a row a $40,000 machine would be the fastest vehicle on the Super Special Stage up against $200,000 machines+óGé¼-ªincredible!" said Cody Crocker.

All of the action from this weekend's Rally Victoria will be posted on the Polaris Australia Facebook page. Tune in to watch the Polaris Racing Team race their way to the 2014 ARC SXS Challenge win.
