Victory Australia announces "sharp" Highball price and lower prices for 2012 Models.

In a surprise move, Victory motorcycles have just announced that the new 2012 Model Highball will come with a sub-$20,000 ride away price.

In a market where American made, 106 cubic-inch (1731cc) engine bikes would normally retail in the $25K + area, the Highball is now priced the same as the $19,995 Vegas 8-Ball which shares the same all-American 106 cubic-inch Freedom Engine and 6 Speed gearbox.

Managing Director of Victory Motorcycles Australia, Peter Alexander commented that "Whilst you can certainly get a smaller capacity American-built motorcycle for under $20K on the road, currently the only true, large capacity offerings are Victory's."

"In our home market of the USA we clearly topped the independent industry survey for quality and owner satisfaction, so we'll take that huge pat-on-the back as validation of our genuine challenger attitude and status. Now we're not just setting the standard for quality but for price also. We'd challenge anyone to ride a Victory and then seriously tell us that there is a better genuine cruiser product out there."

Not only have the new Highball's come in with seriously competitive pricing, but the rest of the Victory range has also received some substantial massaging, with some models being repositioned several thousand dollars better than their 2011 model equivalents. Victory have realigned these current model prices to fit more comfortably with the new lower 2012 pricing and make them even more attractive.

The power cruising Hammer range now starts at $26,995 ride-away and the factory custom Jackpot range at $29,995 ride away. For touring riders the baggers also become much more affordable at a starting point of just $26,495 for the Cross Roads Soft Bagger, but pricing of the whole Victory touring range has also been repositioned.

"Not bad for a brand which is 26% up year-to-date. With demand so high and limited availability you would expect us to be putting our prices up not down." Said MD Peter Alexander.
