21 May 2008 - The 2008 GL1800 Goldwing is
ready to spread its wings and soar on to the road, and for the
first time, the latest incarnation of Honda's touring flagship is
available in two different trim levels.
The standard GL1800's extensive list of high-tech features includes
motor-assisted rear suspension adjustment, ABS brakes, pushbutton
electric reverse, and cruise control. It also includes a cold
weather "Comfort Package" with heated grips and seats, ensuring
that you're warm regardless of the climate.
Even more exciting is the arrival of the luxury model into
Australia for the first time which includes all of the above,
plus the world's first motorcycle airbag - a
unique Honda innovation.
To ensure you know exactly where you're going, the luxury package
features a satellite navigation system. And to further ensure the
ultimate in touring comfort, this all-new model comes with a
premium audio system with 6 CD stacker, as well as coming equipped
with inner pannier bags and fog lights.
Combining top performance with remarkable comfort and exceptional
carrying capacity, the majestic Goldwing provides an
all-encompassing long-distance touring experience that never grows
old.
Powered by a unique 1832cc flat-six engine that provides ultra
smooth power coupled with light, responsive handling are what makes
the Goldwing the most envied touring machine on the road today.
The Luxury model is available for 2008 in a stunning new Caliente
Red Metallic paint scheme, whilst the standard version comes in a
gleaming Billet Silver.
A myriad of aftermarket accessories are available for Honda's

24 Hour HRCA Roadside Assistance for 12 months.
