For 2013 Honda introduces the Special Edition CBR250R in three colour schemes; Repsol, Mugen and Moriwaki. Taking inspiration from Honda's racing history, the familiar colours of these iconic brands will complement the unique bodywork of the CBR250R.

Honda's CBR250R has been winning the hearts of riders since its introduction in early 2011 with beginners and experienced hands alike recognising the economy and extreme versatility of this sporty little ride.

Equipped with an incredibly efficient 249cc, liquid-cooled, single-cylinder engine featuring a sophisticated four-valve, DOHC cylinder head, PGM-FI fuel injection and more, this dependable lightweight machine delivers nimble handling, a broad spread of easily accessible power, excellent fuel efficiency and low operating costs.

Leading the way in safety technology, the CBR250R is also available with Combined ABS allowing riders to stop with confidence on all road conditions.

The CBR250R brings motorcyclists an innovative approach to riding, one that's both appealing and fun. With a low seat height, light weight and slim styling the CBR250R is perfect for a daily commute, quick trips around town or longer weekend trips.

REPSOL

In October 1987 the rearrangement of the Spanish petrol sector and adaption to changes at a world-wide level, the REPSOL Company was created. Its activities encompass exploration, production, transport and refining of petrol and gas. Today REPSOL is a leading brand with prestige and global recognition.

Repsol Honda is the official factory team of Repsol YPF and the Honda Racing Corporation in the MotoGP World Championship. The partnership began in 1995 with a three rider line-up, Mick Doohan, Àlex Crivillé and Shinichi Itoh riding the Honda NSR500. Doohan won the World Championship this year for the second time in a row in Argentina, with one race left for the end of the season with seven race wins.

In 2012 the Repsol Honda team consisted of Spaniard Dani Pedrosa and Australian Casey Stoner, after numerous podiums the duo finished 2nd and 3rd respectively. It was with the Repsol Honda Team that Casey Stoner took a glorious MotoGP World Championship in 2011.

MUGEN POWER

MUGEN POWER has a strong racing heritage. A Japanese company that was formed in 1973 by Hirotoshi Honda, the son of Honda Motor Company founder Soichiro Honda, and Masao Kimura. Mugen means "Without Limit" or "Unlimited". Hirotoshi Honda began building his own racing car in a workshop at his father's house, shortly before he graduated from Nihon University in 1965. Masao Kimura is a veteran racer with more than 50 victories in Honda sports cars and single-seaters and worked for Honda R&D and then Honda Racing Service before helping Hirotoshi Honda establish Mugen.

The company specializes in tuning Honda engines. Beginning with the 1200cc Honda Civic engine, it went on to develop, and now designs and builds, both two-stroke and four-stroke engines, manufacturing many of the major components itself. Working with Honda, Mugen has gradually expanded its sporting involvement to all levels of the sport.

MORIWAKI ENGINEERING

In 1973 Mamoru Moriwaki established MORIWAKI ENGINEERING in a small factory in the land of Suzuka, he had plans to challenge the world. MORIWAKI ENGINEERING began with sales of street exhaust systems and now it has expanded including sales of racing parts for competition use, motorcycle tuning and production and sales of original frames. As well as production of racing machines, Moriwaki has discovered a string of talented rough diamonds including Wayne Gardner and other future world champions.
Capitalising on the integrated strength between technology and a rider's ability, Wayne Gardner marked 2min14.76sec at the 4th year of Suzuka 8hrs Endurance race in 1983. This was an absolute record for Suzuka Circuit and it proved the level of MORIWAKI technical capabilities.

MORIWAKI has been participating in competitions such as All Japan Championship and World Championship and continued its active role in race scenes to this day.
