Mazda has incorporated a mix of added features and price reductions to its award-winning Mazda3, delivering even greater value to buyers.

The entry level Mazda3 Neo now comes with stylish 16-inch alloy wheels replacing the original steel wheel offered at launch. It also comes with rear parking sensors.

With rear parking sensors now standard across the entire petrol Mazda3 range, the mid-spec Maxx now gets stylish front fog lamps - an addition now also offered as standard equipment on the Touring variant.

While these features have been added, Mazda has passed on the full 5 per cent price reduction on petrol and the January and April diesel price reductions recently announced in the Japan-Australia Free Trade Agreement.

The starting price for the Mazda3 Neo remains at the $20,490\* launch price but with 16-inch alloys and rear parking sensors valued at over $1,200 added.

The value-packed Maxx, which includes front fog lamps, rear parking sensors and other features including MZD Connect, a 7-inch screen operated by commander control, satellite navigation and reverse camera, drops $600 to $22,390\*, while Mazda3 Touring, SP25 and SP25 GT prices have all been reduced by up to $800.

The range-topping Mazda3 Astina price comes down by $1,150, and the XD Astina diesel has been reduced by $940.

Available with either a 2.0 or 2.5 litre SKYACTIV-G petrol or 2.2 litre SKYACTIV-D diesel engine, and mated with either the SKYACTIV-Drive 6-speed automatic or SKYACTIV-MT 6-speed manual transmission, Mazda3 comes in eight stylish colours and with the choice of black or off-white leather, or black cloth seats

With the full range of i-ACTIVSENSE safety technologies available, Mazda also offers a safety pack option across all Mazda3 grades+é-¦ beneath the Astina and XD Astina.

Mazda Australia Managing Director Martin Benders said: "In a year when the small car segment contracted, All-New Mazda3 not only grew sales by 3 per cent, but was the firm favourite amongst private and business fleet buyers. With the addition of new features and a reduction in price, we expect Mazda3 will maintain its overwhelming appeal to these buyers in 2015."
