Two-time ARIA award winner and multi-platinum artist, Megan
Washington, is the latest celebrity to be unveiled as a driver in
this year's Mazda3 Celebrity Challenge at the 2014 Formula
1® Rolex Australian Grand Prix.
Megan Washington joins a host of other big name personalities
already announced for the Mazda3 Celebrity Challenge, including UK
travel writer and adventurer Charley Boorman, Australia's first
ever Olympic snowboarding gold medallist Torah Bright as well as
popular TV presenter and Celebrity Challenge alumna Lauren
Phillips.
The talented songstress was announced at the Australian Grand
Prix Corporation's official launch event held today at Grand Prix
Circuit, where Megan Washington was also revealed as a performer on
the all Aussie line-up at the 'Sounds on the Circuit' on Saturday
15 January at the 2014 Formula 1® Rolex Australian Grand
Prix.
With her first single in two years due to be released in the
next month, and a new album not far away, Megan Washington is
thrilled to be featuring so prominently 2014 Formula 1®
Rolex Australian Grand Prix.
"It has been a while since I've had the chance to play in
Melbourne, so to perform at the Australian Grand Prix is an
exciting opportunity for me!" said Megan Washington.

The Mazda3 Celebrity Challenge will feature 20 vehicles and will
bring together celebrities from a wide variety of backgrounds and
disciplines to compete at Melbourne's spectacular Albert Park
street circuit during the 2014 Formula 1® Rolex
Australian Grand Prix.
