PERFORMAX International, Australia's leading importer and converter of premium American pick-ups and sports cars, has re committed its partnership of the fast-growing TA2 Muscle Car Series for a second season this year.

The six-round series, featuring 525 horsepower American muscle cars, opened at Sydney Motorsport Park last weekend.

Fields of up to 30 Ford Mustangs, Chev Camaros and Dodge Challengers also will visit Morgan Park Raceway (Qld), The Bend Motorsport Park (SA), Winton Motor Raceway (Vic.) and Sydney Motorsport Park (NSW) before a November finale at Queensland Raceway.

Drivers will compete for the Performax Cup over the 6 round series, with Queensland’s Aaron Seton leading NSW driver George Miedecke by just 4 points after the first round with reigning TA2 Champ Ashley Jarvis in 3rd.

Performax International Director Greg Waters welcomed the company’s return to the TA2 Racing Series, which he said offered an excellent showcase to competitors and fans for the wide range of Performax-engineered and enhanced American pick-ups and high-performance sports cars.

"Performax American pick-ups are the perfect tow vehicle for racing teams and we have a long and successful history of supporting teams throughout Australia.”

"Performax is looking forward to a mutually beneficial partnership and a successful 2019 season."

Built in its Queensland factory and sold through a nationwide dealer network, the Performax range includes an unmatched choice of heavy-duty pick-ups from Ford, Toyota and Nissan, and exclusive enhancements from manufacturer-approved specialist Tuscany.

Performax International also is Queensland’s sole authorised Tickford Enhancement Centre, supplying performance modifications to Ford Mustang, Ranger and F-150 vehicles.
