Team Motul Suzuki teammates Matt Moss and Lawson Bopping enter this weekend's final round of the 2014 Australian Supercross Championship positioned 1-2 in the premier SX1 category, competing on board the 2015 model Suzuki RM-Z450.

The fifth and final round will take place this Saturday night, 8 November, at the Brisbane Entertainment Centre - the first indoor event the sport has hosted nationally since 2009.

Reigning champion Moss has been flawless in his title defence to date, winning all four rounds contested and carrying a 22-point lead into the final race of the year. Earlier in 2014 he already wrapped up a second consecutive MX Nationals title.

"Winning the first four rounds was an awesome way to start the season and I really want to finish it off with a win indoors," Moss commented. "Everybody is pumped for the entertainment centre event and it gives us a really good chance to race with the crowd up-close.

"The 2015 Suzuki RM-Z450 has delivered the whole way ever since I first rode it, so along with the team and all of our supporters hopefully we can take home another championship tomorrow night."

Bopping has also been in exceptional form, scoring a pair of podiums in the opening four rounds upon return to the factory-supported Suzuki outfit. He is tied for second entering Saturday's decider.

"It's been a really positive season for me back with Team Motul Suzuki, so hopefully we can finish on a high this weekend and give the team a 1-2 in the championship," Bopping said. "Indoor racing is always hard-fought, so starts will be as important as ever and I'm just excited to go racing."

Entering the final round at Brisbane Entertainment Centre on 8 November, defending champion Moss carries a 22-point advantage due to his perfect season to date, with Bopping tied for second after a consistent effort across the season.
