Subaru sales for March totalled a solid 3,852 units, up a remarkable 69.0 per cent against March 2022, and achieving significate growth (41.2 per cent) year-to-date; all contributing to a total market share of 4 per cent for the month of March.
Subaru Forester was again the top performer for the month, with a count of 1,881 units sold, up a remarkable 162 per cent against March 2022 and 43.6 per cent year-to-date. Astoundingly, this amounted to a record-high March sales result for Forester and second-best monthly sales result in the model's history – solidifying Forester's ongoing popularity in Australia.
Following the lead, Outback contributed an admirable 1,054 units, resultant in year-to-date Outback sales up 59.7 per cent.
BRZ continues to impress and resonate with Australian customers achieving its highest monthly sales result on record. A significant 192 units were sold in March, up a substantial 195.4 per cent over March 2022 and 87.2 per cent year-to-date.
Cumulative sales for Forester, Outback and BRZ so far this year have resulted in the best Q1 sales results on record for each of these models.
Very notably, Subaru in Australia currently holds the highest market share of any Subaru market globally.
