Josh Waters has been released from hospital following his high speed crash at Willow Springs Raceway, Rosamond, California on July 7, 2010.

The 23-year-old Australian Superbike Champion was preparing for his upcoming U.S. racing debut when he crashed, which left him with concussion.

Waters return to racing will be determined as his recovery progresses however it is expected that he will compete at Round 7 (Laguna Seca July 23 – 25) of the AMA Pro American Superbike Championship.

After an impressive test with Rockstar Makita Suzuki at Barber Motorsports Park in mid June where he clocked the fourth fastest time, the young Victorian received the call up to fill in for an injured Blake Young, on a factory GSX-R1000 Superbike.
