Suzuki Australia has released the exciting 2005-model manual
transmission, two-wheel drive Eiger 400 ATV.
Named Eiger after the rugged Swiss mountain, Suzuki’s
mid-range ATV is capable of tackling the harshest terrain,
establishing it as one of the most popular vehicles in its
class.
“The upgraded LT-F400 Eiger model offers consumers a
package high in strength, functionality, style and value,”
Glyn Griffiths, National Marketing Manager – Motorcycles,
Suzuki Australia said.
“Suzuki expects the improvements to this model to be well
received, making the Eiger 400 even more appealing to the ATV
market.”
A 376cc, single-cylinder, four-stroke, SOHC powerplant offers
abundant low-end and mid-range torque, while the Suzuki Advanced
Cooling System ensures the Eiger performs reliably at its optimum
temperature in all conditions.
Using an automatic centrifugal clutch, the robust engine is
mated to a five-speed (plus-reverse) manual transmission with a
two-speed (high/low) sub-transmission that offers versatility in
all conditions.
Providing the rider with easier, more responsive acceleration,
the improved 2005-model Eiger features a new, user-friendly,
lighter action throttle lever.
Over rough terrain, the Eiger’s class-leading suspension
offers a smooth ride, with an impressive 170mm of travel from the
independent double front wishbone and rear swingarm.
Offering plenty of storage space, the Eiger is fitted with dual
carrying racks and a rear-mounted sealed utility box, plus
full-length floorboards as standard equipment for rider comfort and
safety.
Styling enhancements see the 2005-model Eiger receive a new,
aggressive image which incorporates updated graphics, new
multi-reflector headlights and the Suzuki “S” logo
situated boldly in the front grill.
Sporting its familiar red livery, the LT-F400K5 Eiger is now
available at a SRP of $9,590 (inc GST) with a 12-month
warranty.
The Suzuki Eiger 400 range also features the automatic,
four-wheel drive LT-A400F and the manual, four-wheel drive version
LT-F400F with automatic clutch.
