Team Motul Suzuki's current MX Nationals champion Matt Moss will enter this weekend's final round of the Australian Motocross Championship with a 37-point advantage at Coolum in Queensland.

Riding an RM-Z450 with pink highlights in support of the National Breast Cancer Foundation for the grand finale, Moss has been in stellar form throughout the 10-round season with three round wins to date.

If he does manage to clinch the crown, Moss will add the prestigious national championship to those he captured outdoors in 2009 (MX2), 2011 (MX2) and 2013 (MX1).

"I'm looking forward to Coolum and entering this weekend with the same mentality that I have had at every race meeting," Moss said. "If I feel like I'm in a position to win the round I will go for it, otherwise I will do what I have to do for the championship.

"The plan for us as a team is to keep going the way I'm going and I've always ridden Coolum pretty good, so I'm excited. We did press day today and the track is prepared really well, so now we will look ahead to Saturday and Sunday to try and win the championship again."

Team Motul Suzuki will round out the MX Nationals season with Moss at the helm, as teammate Rhys Carter recuperates in New Zealand from a recent wrist fracture.
