MX1 Australia Suzuki's Trent Lean has wrapped up his fifth Australian Off-Road Championship at the final round of the 2015 Championship held in Dungog last weekend.

Lean who is a member of the local club that hosted the final round, picked up the Masters Class round wins on both Saturday and Sunday to seal this year's title aboard his Suzuki RMX450Z.

"It feels great to win my 5th AORC title and my 6th Australian title overall including my A4DE win back in 2013," Lean enthused.

"It was great to wrap up the title at my home round at Dungog aboard the Suzuki RMX450Z. I wrapped up my first title at my home round five years ago and it felt good to do it again on the weekend.

"The bike has been great all year and I did not expect any different. We have been working hard all season with our teams E2 rider Luca Bussa, developing the RMX450Z for racing and the bike has been faultless all year.

"It has certainly been a busy year managing the team, learning the bike and racing myself and winning the title certainly makes it all worthwhile." Lean added.

With the 2015 Australian Off-Road Championship now complete, Lean will turn his attention to getting his and Bussa's RMX450Z's ready for the upcoming Australian Four Day Enduro being held in Tasmania from October 19th through to the 24th.

"The season is not over just yet and we will start preparing our bikes for the 2015 four day in Tassy." Lean continued.

"With the bikes needing to be in road legal trim for the four day event, it is just a matter of re-installing the standard wiring overlay harness which is part of what makes the RMX ADR compliant which is simple enough and then add the front head light and a few little bits an pieces.

"Having a bike that is ADR compliant from new certainly makes the process of getting the bike ready for the four day easier.

"We can't wait to get over to Tasmania and race this year's big event."

Suzuki Australia's National Marketing Manager, Lewis Croft was delighted to see the new ADR spec RMX450Z take a national title on debut.

"Everyone here at Suzuki Australia are very happy to see the new ADR spec RMX450Z winning on debut and we congratulate Trent and the MX1 Australia team for delivering Suzuki another Championship." Croft commented.

"The RMX is Suzuki's flagship registrable off-road motorcycle and racing the motorcycle at the hands of the capable MX1 Australia team is a key element of our branding and awareness of the bike.

"We are looking forward to another strong showing from the team at this year's A4DE and also next seasons AORC title defense" Croft concluded.
