Peter Stevens M/C & Aark Racing's Christan Casella, rounded off a successful debut year by taking out 1st Place in the Supersport Privateers Cup, and 2nd overall in the series on 233 points, behind Troy Herfoss on 275 points. Brodie Waters was third overall on 212 points.

The final round was held at Tasmania's Symons Plains race circuit, in conjunction with the V8 Supercar Championship, with a large crowd witnessing all of the action across a weekend of inclement & changeable weather.

Christan took second place in Race 1, a slender .135 seconds behind Herfoss. Also Daytona 675 mounted was Queenslander Des Darby who finished in 8th place. Fastest Lap in race 1 was 56.176 by Christan.

Race 2 saw a repeat of race 1, with Christan once again in second place & Des Darby in 8th position. Fastest lap in race 2 was by Des Darby who pulled off an amazing 1:01.723 on a wet track.

Christan commented, "We are really pleased with our results in what we were viewing as a learning year for us with the 675 Daytona. We were confident that we would be competitive, as the 675 is known for being quick straight out of the box, but didn't think for a minute that we would end up with 2nd place overall, let alone take out the Privateers Cup! I'd like to thank Andy Offer for giving me the opportunity to race the Triumph, and Peter Stevens Motorcycles & Triumph Australia for their support. We'll be back next year to give it another good crack."
