Audi R8 Carbon Edition
The Audi R8 takes its place at the very top of the high-performance sports car segment. Since it was launched in 2006, the R8 has rewritten the supercar rulebook, winning multiple awards both overseas and in Australia.
Beating at its heart are two thoroughbred naturally aspirated engines that are closely related: the 309kW 4.2-litre V8 FSI and the 386kW 5.2-litre V10 FSI. Both deliver awesome performance, with the 5.2 FSI able to sprint from zero to 100km/h in just 3.9 seconds and on to a top speed of 316km/h.
Advanced technologies like quattro permanent all-wheel drive and the lightweight aluminium body borne out of the Audi Ultra philosophy ensures the R8 delivers the kind of incredible driving dynamics expected of a supercar of its calibre.
The gorgeous R8 Spyder was also launched in 2010, and is only available with the 386kW 5.2-litre V10 FSI engine.
Available on both the V8 and V10 models, in either Coupé or Spyder body-styles, the R8 Carbon Edition is a very rare offering, with only 10 cars coming to Australia.
- 19-inch alloy wheels in 5-twin spoke design with titanium finish
- Carbon-fibre exterior package, including front spoiler and rear diffuser
- Carbon-fibre sideblade (or inlays in the case of the Spyder)
- Carbon-fibre exterior mirror housings
- Carbon-fibre illuminated door sills

The R8 Carbon Edition offers $38,100 worth of exclusive styling options for only $10,900 above the purchase price of the chosen R8 model. The Carbon Edition is available in Ibis White, Phantom Black, Suzuka Grey and Daytona Grey.
Audi RS 5 Coupé Limited Edition

Powered by a 331kW and 430Nm 4.2-litre FSI V8 engine, matched to Audi's quattro all-wheel drive system and 7-speed S tronic, the RS 5 is one of the most formidable driving machines on the road. Just 25 of the exclusive RS 5 Limited Editions will be sold in Australia, available in Ibis White, Phantom Black and Suzuka Grey.

Audi's Sport Suspension Plus with Dynamic Ride Control (DRC) has also been introduced as a $4750 optional feature on the RS 5 Coupé Limited Edition. It is also now optionally available on standard RS 5 Coupé models.
The principle behind Sport Suspension Plus with Dynamic Ride Control is as simple as it is effective. The diagonally-opposed pairs of shock absorbers are linked by hydraulic lines and a central valve. When cornering at speed, the valves regulate the oil flow in the shock absorber of the deflected outside front wheel almost immediately. They increase the support provided and reduce lateral tilt, thus improving the dynamics. The system is combined with a variable damper control, which can be switched between three stages (Comfort, Auto and Dynamic) using the standard Audi drive select vehicle dynamics system.
For uncompromising drivers, RS bucket seats are available on the RS 5 Coupé Limited Edition for the special price of $3700 (usually $6500).
Only 25 Audi RS 5 Coupé Limited Editions are available to the Australian market, for the same price as the standard RS5 Coupé: $175,300.
