Australia, 18 February, 2014 – The popular Audi Q3 SUV family has a new member. The new entry level 1.4 TFSI model is priced at $42,300 and includes the S tronic transmission as standard.
The new 1.4 TFSI engine in the Audi Q3 is powerful, producing 110kW from 5000-6000rpm and the full 250Nm of torque available from 1750-3000rpm. In combination with a sporty six-speed S tronic transmission that drives through the front wheels, this delivers strong acceleration, reaching 100km/h from rest in 8.9 seconds.
Importantly, fuel efficiency leads the way in the compact premium SUV class (petrol models), sipping just 6.2 litres per 100km, with emissions of 145 g/km.
"This new entry model makes the highly successful Audi Q3 model even more attainable for discerning customers," said Audi Australia's Managing Director, Andrew Doyle.
"The Audi Q3's unique combination of sporty performance, sophisticated design and everyday versatility explains why this model has led its segment since it launched in early 2012.
"The high-value package structure allows customers to option the additional features that best suit their needs, and this concept is extended to the new model. Customisation is important part of the Audi brand experience," said Mr Doyle.
