Zetland, May 21, 2020 – Audi Australia is completing its premium compact SUV offering with the arrival of the Audi Q3 40 TFSI quattro; the benchmark for confidence-inspiring all-wheel drive dynamics, combined with exceptional design and strong performance.
The new Audi Q3 40 TFSI and Q3 40 TFSI S line join the all-new Q3 range to complement their Q3 Sportback siblings. Powered by a 2.0-litre turbocharged petrol engine that produces 132 kW and 320 Nm of torque, the Q3 40 TFSI quattro reaches 100km/h from rest in 7.8 seconds, returning 8.3 litres per 100km. CO2 emissions are 188 grams per km.
The Q3 40 TFSI drivetrain is mated to a quick-shifting seven-speed S tronic transmission that delivers power to the quattro all-wheel drive system to create impressive traction and dynamic road-holding. This affords the Q3 quattro additional versatility in urban environments, with the security of extra grip during wet weather conditions or venturing off-road on new terrains.

The sporty exterior design of the Audi Q3 40 TFSI quattro creates a distinctive presence on the road with its muscular blisters and athletic shoulder line. The new model features 19-inch alloy wheels, quattro all-wheel drive technology, full body paint finish and folding exterior mirrors with passenger side auto dipping as standard.
Further enhancing these sporty characteristics, the Q3 40 TFSI quattro S line features 20-inch Audi Sport alloy wheels, rear window privacy glass, progressive steering and an S line exterior package.
The Audi Q3 40 TFSI quattro builds on the class-leading standard equipment of the 35 TFSI, offering outstanding levels of comfort. Features include convenience key (keyless entry and start), electric tailgate with gesture control, two-zone climate control and leather-appointed seta upholstery. In addition, there's electric front seats and lumbar support, auto dimming interior mirror, multi-function leather steering wheel with shift paddles and Audi drive select.
Additionally, the Q3 40 TSFI quattro S line variant features a luxuriously appointed Alcantara interior in steel grey, heated front seats, an electric passenger seat, an aluminium interior package, as well as an S line interior that includes:
- Sport front seats in leather appointed upholstery with contrasting stitching and S embossing
- Pedals in stainless steel
- Floor mats in contrasting stitching
- Inlays in matt brushed aluminium (dark)
- Illuminated door sill trims
- Flat bottom steering wheel with shift paddles and perforated leather
The Q3 40 TFSI quattro variants offer a generous amount of interior space for occupants and afford up to 675 litres of luggage capacity (1525 litres with the rear seats folded flat). The rear seat can be split 40:20:40, and slides fore/aft in a 150mm range to create additional legroom during longer journeys.
Infotainment and connectivity are real highlights of the Audi Q3 40 TFSI quattro, with high-value features included like the virtual cockpit, MMI navigation plus with MMI touch, DAB+ digital radio, wireless Apple Carplay technology and the innovative convenience of Audi connect plus. Additionally, the Q3 40 TFSI quattro S line features the virtual cockpit plus (12.3-inch screen), alongside an Audi sound system (ten speakers with subwoofer, 180 watts) as standard.
On top of this, the Audi Q3 40 TFSI exhibits class-leading safety features, equipped with an extensive range of driver assistance systems that contribute to its 5-star ANCAP safety rating. Standard features include, Autonomous Emergency Braking (AEB) with cyclist and pedestrian detection, lane departure warning, lane change warning, rear cross-traffic assist, tyre pressure monitors, hill descent control, as well as a comprehensive suite of parking sensors and rear view camera.
On top of this, premium S line model is further enhanced with a suite of safety features, including 360-degree camera, high beam assist and park assist, as well as exterior mirrors with auto dimming functions and adaptive cruise assist (includes active lane assist and emergency assist).A Premium package equipment option is available for the Audi Q3 40 TFSI quattro and a Premium plus package is available for the premium S line model.
The Audi Q3 40 TFSI is offered with the comprehensive Audi service plan package, priced at $1,610 for three years or $2,630 for five years.
