The rapidly expanding Kumho Platinum Dealer network is set to
turn pink in October to support National Breast Cancer Awareness
Month.
Staff at Kumho's 30 plus Platinum Dealers will wear hot pink shirts
during the month of October in order to raise awareness for breast
cancer and support the McGrath Foundation.
Kumho has been a major benefactor of the McGrath Foundation since
2009 and the decision to go pink this October coincides with Kumho
committing to a further $100,000 donation in 2014.
According to Kumho National Trade Manager, Glenn Pearse, Kumho
Platinum Dealers are community minded and are proud to assist in
raising awareness for such a worthy cause.
"Raising awareness of breast cancer is something Kumho is
passionate about because of our partnership with the McGrath
Foundation," said Glenn Pearse.
"As well as funding specialist breast care nurses around Australia,
the McGrath Foundation is a leading charity for breast cancer
awareness. Kumho's Platinum Dealer network is proud to go pink in
October to show its support of such a worthwhile cause."
Breast Cancer Network Australia estimates nearly 15,000 women will
be diagnosed with breast cancer in 2013.
"Breast Cancer affects the entire family of the patient which
highlights the importance of the work McGrath Foundation breast
care nurses carry out in providing support and education," added
Glenn.
"Kumho is proud of its association with the McGrath Foundation and
urges motorists to show their support by making a donation at a
participating Platinum Dealer this October."
The Kumho Platinum Dealer program was initiated in 2009 to showcase
Kumho's quality product line the through a network of dealers
showing the upmost professionalism and customer service.
