Leading tyre maker Kumho has added three 2014 Red Dot Design
Awards to its growing list of accolades.
Kumho's flagship performance tyre, the Super-Ultra High Performance
Ecsta PS91, its Watt-Run VA31 electric vehicle tyre and its
WinterCraft WI61 snow and ice tyre were all judged as winners in
the vehicle accessories category of the Red Dot Awards.
Kumho is the only Korean tyre manufacturer to win Red Dot Design
Awards over three consecutive years.
According to Kumho Tyre Australia national marketing and training
manager, David Basha, claiming such prestigious design awards over
three consecutive years underlines the importance Kumho places on
design and innovation.

accolades in the world and this achievement is proof positive that
Kumho is committed to developing and producing innovative and
effective tyres for the world's motorists," said David Basha.
"Having three tyres win Red Dots Awards this year is a huge tick of
approval for the work of the engineering and development teams at
Kumho and a clear demonstration of the advancements they are
making."
As well as success in the Red Dot Design Awards, the Ecsta PS91
recently received the iF Design Award.

applications from eco-friendly tyres to the ultimate sports car
